Big tribute celebration for Oliver Dragojević this summer in Vela Luka

From 26 to 31 July 2025, the annual ‘Trag u beskraju’ celebration will take place, bringing together fans, musicians and islanders for a series of events dedicated to one of Croatia’s most beloved voices.

Named after one of Oliver’s most iconic songs and albums, the event has become a tradition that combines music, sea, and emotion in a truly unique setting.

The tribute begins on 26 July with a traditional concert aboard the ferry ‘Korčula’, which sails from Split to Vela Luka – a symbolic journey that Oliver himself made countless times.

This moving musical voyage sets the tone for a week filled with concerts and cultural events.

On 27 July, the public will be introduced to the concept of the future Museum Collection dedicated to Oliver Dragojević, further cementing his cultural legacy in his hometown.

The highlight of the week will be on 29 July, the date of Oliver’s passing, with the main concert ‘Trag u beskraju’ held on a floating stage in the centre of Vela Luka.

The line-up features a stellar cast of performers including Nina Badrić, Tedi Spalato, Klapa Rišpet, Marko Škugor, Marko Tolja, Klapa Kaša, Petar Dragojević, Miroslav Tadić, Yvette Holzwarth, Vlatko Stefanovski, Antonio Serrano, Eli Žuvela, and the Symphony Orchestra conducted by Alan Bjelinski.

On 30 July, a jazz evening will be held in the market square in front of St. Joseph’s Church, featuring Miroslav Tadić, Yvette Holzwarth and Vlatko Stefanovski. The following evening, on 31 July, the programme will close with ‘Two, Three Words – Actors to Oliver’, a special event in the same location paying tribute through spoken word and performance. More
